Lot Description

Pair of Mason's ironstone dinner plates circa 1830-50

In the Asian taste, each centrally decorated with a large flowering vase flanked by four precious objects, within a cobalt blue scroll and flower decorated border, on a pale yellow ground, black printed crown mark, red painted pattern number 2240. Diam: 9 in; together with a pair of Mason's ironstone Imari pattern dinner plates, mid 19th century, one with printed aubergine crown mark, the other black. Diam: 9 1/4 in; together with a pair of Mason's ironstone side plates, black printed crown mark, 6 1/2 in. (6).
