The domed lids with berry finials, the cylindrical sides painted with continuous landscapes depicting romantic scenes of lovers, against a 'jeweled' cobalt blue gilt enhanced ground, flanked by twin acanthus and laurel leaf cast scroll handles, raised on socle bases.
