[WILD WEST]. 4 glass target balls. Ca late 19th-early 20th century.
4 glass target balls, each approx. 2 1/2 in. dia.
Includes: Glass ball with deep blue hue with diamond crosshatching and a flattened equatorial band with "N.B. GLASS WORKS PERTH" with reversed "ss" and upside down "P." Stands for "North British Glassworks, Perth, Scotland." -- 2 unmarked balls with amber hue, filled with small brown feathers (lacking corks). -- Unmarked glass ball with purple hue.
Together, 4 antique glass target balls produced in the thousands during the 19th century, most destroyed by use.
