2 3/8 x 3 1/2 in. CDV on cardstock mount of a young Nez Perce student attending the Carlisle Indian School in Pennsylvania, dressed in a suit, holding a straw hat (some soiling to image and mount). With Rogers' imprint on mount below image. Penciled ID, "Samuel H. Johns" on verso.
[With:] CHOATE, John N. (1848-1902), photographer. A group of 4 CDVs of Native American subjects, some likely Carlisle students. Carlisle, PA, n.d. All framed together to approx. 14 x 17 1/12 in. (not examined out of the frame). Mount rectos each with Choate's imprint.
[With:] DINMORE, photographer. CDV of an unidentified young Native American man. Carlisle, PA, n.d. (toning, wear to mount edges and corners). Dinmore's imprint on verso.
