Third row features (from left to right): Seated portrait of a confidently posed young man wearing a red-tinted jacket, possibly a firefighter; portrait of a young infantryman seated before an American flag, displaying his cap with insignia "N.H.V." and "B," indicating that the subject served with Co. B of one of the New Hampshire Infantry Regiments; seated portrait of a young, nervous looking soldier in uniform.
