Original brown cloth (rebacked, endpapers renewed, some light rubbing). Provenance: C. H. Buxton (signature, Washington City, July 25th 1866, carte de visite laid in); Lewis J. Acly? (signature); a few pencil annotations on flyleaves. FIRST EDITION.
