[FOUNDING FATHER]. ADAMS, Samuel (1722-1803). Clipped signature ("Samuel Adams"), n.p, n.d.
3 3/4 x 2 in. signature on laid paper, clipped from a larger document, with lightly penciled notation below autograph, "Gov Mass. 1796" (toning, minimal soiling, paper residue on verso).
Samuel Adams served as Governor of Massachusetts from 1794-1797.
