Lot Description
[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Sixth plate daguerreotype featuring possible twin sisters holding open a music folio.
Sixth plate portrait of two sisters, dressed exactly alike, holding a music book open across their laps. (Light tarnishing to edges, few spots to plate; resealed 2009.) Housed in a leather William Shew case. An old sticker featuring musical notes and reading "D'You Do" affixed to cover glass. Details of the folio cannot be made out apart from faint impressions of musical staffs.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
