French sterling silver coffeepot mark of louis fillette, paris, 1819-38

Of vase form, raised on three outscrolling paw feet, surmounted by anthemion and sphinx masks, the ovoid sides with bands of further anthemions and beading, with a scroll wood handle and s-scroll spout with a horse mask terminal, surmounted by a bud finial. H: 12 3/4 in. 32 oz. Provenance: Sold by Christie's, New York, 'The Property of a Europeon Collector', October 17th, 2002, lot number 167.
