8vo. Publisher’s cloth; dust jacket (losses to spine, rubbing).
FIRST EDITION. WITH AN ORIGINAL DRAWING SIGNED BY DALI in black ink dated 1945 depicting a mother and child looking at heavenly bodies in the night sky. The Maze is believed to have been inspired by the “Monster of Glamis Castle,” and was adapted into a 1953 horror film starring Richard Carlson and Veronica Hurst.
