8vo. Original buff cloth (light rubbing at extremities); dust jacket (spotting, small losses). Provenance: “Mrs. Wollcombe” (presentation inscription).
FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY WELLS to Wollcombe: “One single cabin ticket for Mrs. Wollcombe, 3 Weymouth Mews, to Ararat.” All Aboard for Ararat was the last of Wells’s “utopian” works. Hammond B22.
