Classical mahogany double pedestal sewing stand philadelphia, circa 1830
Having a rectangular veneered center section, hinged and covering an adjustable felt covered work panel, each flat urn shaped pedestal supports a fabric container with hinged lid tops, tray interior above spindled "basket" fabric container, joined by a flat padded "foot-rest" stretcher, scroll feet on casters.
