Lot Description

Classical mahogany sideboard attributed to anthony quervelle (1789-1856), philadelphia, circa 1840

Having a rectangular top with rope carved edge, two ogee faced apron drawers with scroll and leaf gilt stencil decoration, above two inset cabinet doors with beveled mirror, recessed panels cut with sunburst center and fan corners, carved and partial gilded animal legs with claw feet on star stenciled plinth, shell and fan incise carved sides, incurvate base with rope carved edge, round leaf carved feet.
