A painted and decorated blanket chest northampton county, 18th/19th century
Having a rectangular top with applied half round molded edge, the front painted allover with "gold" leaves and two "spade" reserves of green leaves, one reserve of the same motif on the sides, two drawers below painted like the reserves, short bracket feet.
