Lot Description

Queen Anne walnut dressing table delaware valley, mid 18th century

Having a lip molded top with four notched corners, one wide and four small lip molded drawers with older etched batwing brasses, carved apron with a center pierced "heart," on plain cabriole legs with trifid feet.

Note:
This dressing table shares stylistic similarities to a high chest (#1995-138-1a & 1b) and lowboy (#1995-138-2) in the Philadelphia Museum of Art collection and sold at Sotheby's, sale #6269, Jan. 23-25, 1992.
