Lot Description
Pair of silver twin-handled sauce tureens edward lownes, philadelphia, circa 1817
Oval in form with an oval leaf chased ball handle to the lid, tulip chased rim and base, handles at sides matching handles to lid with chased acorn and oak leaf terminals on four leaf and claw chased feet. Bottom is marked "E. Lownes" in a rectangle two times with "Philadelphia" in a circle.
