silver bone-handle fish slice joseph lownes, philadelphia, circa 1780
Having a curved blade with stipple-decorated border and pierced strip with seven circles, and rectangular bone handle. The blade is engraved with a phoenix on a striped pole, possibly the crest of the Lewis or Lampe families of Philadelphia.
