Pair of silver cans jospeh lownes, philadelphia, circa 1780
Cylindrical in form with double reed bands, square lyre-form handles, marked two times on the bottom and engraved with a crest of a phoenix on a striped pole, possibly the Lewis or Lampe families of Philadelphia.
