The Morris family of Philadelphia is believed to have owned several services in this pattern, with known examples in green, sepia, and grisaille. Israel Morris (1778-1870) and his wife Mary Hollingsworth Morris (1776-1820) owned two, and a drawing of this pattern by Mary is held at Dumbarton House in Washington, D.C.
