A Pair of Chinese Doucai Porcelain 'Pomegranate' Dishes
Early 18th Century

清早期 成化款石榴芭蕉斗彩碟一對
each has shallow rounded sides flaring outwards from an unglazed foot ring, painted to the center with plantain leaves and three pomegranates, within a border of similar motifs, bearing an apocryphal Chenghua six-character mark to the underside.
Diameter 6 1/4 in., 16 cm.
