A Pair of Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Covered Boxes
Guangxu Period (1875-1908)
清光緒 青花五福捧壽捧盒
each domed top is decorated with five bats enclosing a shou character in roundel and sides are decorated with pomegranates and peaches borne on leafy branches, the rims painted with keyfret bands, bearing a Guangxu six-character mark in underglaze blue to the underside.
