A Chinese Pale Celadon Jade Melon-Form Snuff Bottle
18th/19th Century
清中期 青白玉瓜瓞式鼻烟壺
carved in the form of a melon suspending from a leafy stem, a butterfly resting atop the fruit, the stone of an even white tone, green jadeite stopper, together with a fitted gold stand.
Height of bottle 2 1/4 in., 5.7 cm.
