A Pair of Chinese Yellow Ground Green and Aubergine Enameled Porcelain 'Double Dragon' Dishes
Tongzhi Period (1861-1875)
清同治 黃地素三彩雙龍戲珠碟一對
the interior is impressed and decorated in green and aubergine enamels with two five-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl, surrounded by a band of floral sprays in the well, the underside bearing a Tongzhi six-character black enameled mark and of the period.
Diameter of each 5 1/8 in., 13 cm.
