the rectangular cabinet with straight sides, two screen panels converted into the pair of pull-out doors, embellished with jade and hardstone depicting archaistic vases, treasure chests, flower-filled pots and scholars' objects, all reserved on a black lacquered ground, framed by borders with relief-carved kui dragons, the upper and lower panels carved with archaistic vessels amongst flowering branches, the reverse painted in polychrome with highlights showing landscapes.
