Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
明 木雕彩繪羅漢坐像
the figure seated cross-legged atop a rectangular pedestal, dressed in draped, voluminous robes, the hands clasped together at the front hidden in the sleeves, the round face carved with full lips, an aquiline rose and downcast eyes, flanked by a pair of pendulous earlobes, traces of white, red, blue and green pigment.
