A Japanese Export Silver Tea Set and Tray
Early 20th Century
尚古堂造 日本銀茶器一組
comprising three teapots, one tea caddy, one tea strainer and three saucers and an undertray, each molded in the shape of a large melon decorated with chased leafy vines; each vessel and the undertray bearing a four-character maker's mark to the underside.
Height of tallest 7 1/2 in., 19 cm.
Property from the Estate of Hisazo Nagatani (1905-1994), thence by descent. 永谷商会（前山中商会芝加哥分公司）创始人永谷寿三（1905-1994）舊藏。
