A Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Champion Vase
18th Century
清中期 掐絲琺琅英雄瓶
each of the two cylinders is decorated with continuous lotus scrolls. The two sections are joined by a gilt bronze eagle with outspread wings, and standing on a fearsome crouched mythical beast, the underside inscribed with a Qianlong four-character mark, mounted as a lamp.
Height of vase 4 7/8 in., 12.4 cm.
