A Fine Chinese Semi-Translucent Green Jadeite Pendant
19th Century
清晚期 翡翠吉祥如意牌
the pendant centered with a shaped panel carved in low relief on the front with a child carrying a large peach branch, the reverse with four characters reading 'jixiang ruyi', all between a pair of confronting dragons to the top register and ruyi heads to the lower section, suspending from a silvered metal chain.
Length 2 1/4 in., 5.3 cm.
