The domed lid surmounted by a horse finial, the sides with a reeded collar and twin acanthus decorated scroll handles, centered by a gilt medallion of Albert Edward, verso with a plume of feathers and dated 1899, raised on a spreading circular foot, inscribed 'From AE 1900'. H: 13 1/2 in. 55 oz.
