Lot Description

Fine Minton pate-sur-pate peacock-blue pilgrim bottle Ca. 1880

Painted and hand tooled in white slip with two winged cherubs and two flaming cornucopia each hung with three weights, centrally decorated with a copper lustre medallion depicting a river god within a laurel wreath border, the reverse with a further copper lustre cameo depicting an angel within a pate-sur-pate frame, surmounted by ribbon tied drapery, the neck, ovoid sides and foot enriched with gilt, crowned gold globe mark. H: 10 1/4 in.
