VICTORIAN GRECIAN REVIVAL MARQUETRY AND EBONIZED CENTER TABLE

Attributed to Herter Brothers, New York, the inlaid rectangular top with bowed ends and molded edge centred by a marquetry musical trophy panel surrounded by arabesques, urns and flowers, above a decorated frieze set at the cardinal points with carved cartouche, raised on elaborate carved trestle supports joined by a turned stretcher, on bun feet with recessed castors; decorated all over with gilt incised graffito-work and decorative veneers.
