GOOD VICTORIAN GOTHIC REVIVAL WALNUT SIDE CABINET

Attributed to Frank Furness, the rounded carved pediment over two open shelves with circular paneled backs, the canted lower sections with two frieze drawers over two paneled doors, flanked and divided by turned pilasters, raised on a plinth base. (Two oval copper panels replaced.) H: 85 1/2, W: 67, D: 24 1/2 in. Together with a copy of letter from Philadelphia museum of Art, discussing this piece.
