Stevens / Coventry." Ribbon's center features a bust portrait of Grant between text reading "Richmond / 1865 / Vicksburg / Fort Donelson / General. U. S. Grant. / 'I will fight it out on this line.'" Four flags crossed with circular eagle motif make up the bottom portion of the ribbon.

Likely made for Grant's 1868 presidential campaign, this ribbon invokes his strength and resolve as a leader during the Civil War.
