JOHNSON, Andrew (1808-1875). Clipped signature signed "Andrew Johnson, Mil. Gov'r." Johnson served as the Military Governor of Tennessee from March 1862-March 1865 (signature partially trimmed along top edge).
[With:] Signatures of the following subjects: LINCOLN, Robert Todd (1843-1926). Card signed (residue on verso). -- COLFAX, Schuyler (1823-1885). Clipped signature (toning to verso). -- BROWNLOW, William G. "Parson" (1805-1887). Clipped signature, with "Special Agent Treasury Department" written below signature, possibly in a different hand. Brownlow served as the 17th Governor of Tennessee from 1865-1869.
