[NATIVE AMERICANS]. HARTWELL, F.A., photographer. Cabinet photograph of Apache subject with birds.
3 13/16 x 5 3/16 in. cabinet photograph on cardstock mount (toning and minor spotting to print; soiling/discoloration and light edge wear to mount). Hartwell's imprint and ink inscription reading "Full-blood Apache" to mount recto. Modern pencil inscriptions to verso.
The featured subject wears a plaid shirt and has what appear to be several birds on his chest.
