Lot Description
[LINCOLN, Abraham (1809-1865)]. Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin back-to-back campaign ferrotype with eagle hanger. 1860.
25 mm diam. gilt brass frame featuring 15 mm diam. ferrotypes of Lincoln and Hamlin on the obverse and reverse, respectively (minor surface soiling to ferrotypes, light tarnish to frame, else very good). Obverse with legend "Abraham Lincoln 1860," reverse with legend, "Hannibal Hamlin 1860." Frame with small loop at top, suspended from shield-breasted eagle pinback, 1 3/4 in. ln. overall.
