2 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. CDV printed directly on cardstock mount (spotting, soiling, corners clipped). Subject identified and image credited on mount recto. Image with blindstamp for Germon, 702 Chest. St. 

Paul B. Goddard (1811-1866) is credited with being the first to use bromine as an accelerator in the daguerreotype process.
