13 1/2 x 25 1/2 in. wooden bracket shelf comprised of a spread-winged eagle above carvings of cannon and flags flanking a monument at center (light surface wear consistent with age and use). The intricately carved section below the shelf bears the date, "1775." American, ca 19th-early 20th century.
