After four decades at Chanel, Lagerfeld earned a legacy as a creative force that reinvigorated the heritage label, infusing it with postmodern playfulness while honoring its roots. Black wool and alpaca-blend coat with a black velvet collar and cuffs. The coat is cut with a stand collar, long sleeves, in-seam pockets over each hip, and a double-breasted button closure. The coat is embellished with six buttons at the back for decoration. The buttons on the front, back, and sleeve feature an American western-theme with a central star. The coat is lined with black silk woven with the CC logo and the words "Chanel rue Cambon". The coat is finished with a silver-tone chain sewn to the inside hem.
