Yriarte y Cisneros, Juan de. Obras Sueltas. Madrid: Francesco Manuel de Mena, 1774. 4to, contemp. speckled calf, marbled endpapers & edges, raised bands, modern red morocco spine labels; scuffed. Engraved frontis. portrait. Internally clean. Armorial bookplate of Thomas Philip Earl de Grey.
18th-century ms. poem on 5 leaves tipped-in between front free endpaper & fly leaf. Identified in a contemporary hand as "Dom Thomas Yriarte a Da. Dominjo Yriarte, 1771." Possibly a poem by Juan de Iriarte's nephew, Thomas de Yriarte y Oropesa.
Brunet, vol. 5, col. 1511, "bella edition"; Palau 12116, "Bella Publication": Updike, Printing Types, vol. 2, pp. 52, 79, "it is a most beautiful piece of printing."
