Contemporary calf, smooth spine gilt, black morocco lettering-piece gilt (some soiling and rubbing, repair to 4 x 1-in section of calf on lower cover, corners lightly bumped). Provenance: Dudley Bell Priester (1923-2017), Mississippi River collector and bibliographer (sold Bloomsbury, 20 November 2009, lot 66).
