28 volumes, 8vo. Half-titles, photogravure frontispieces, titles printed in red and black. (A touch of marginal toning.) Contemporary half green morocco gilt, spines in 3 compartments with 2 raised bands, gilt-lettered in one, the other with floral motif gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut, stamp-signed by Stikeman and Co. for Charles Scribner's Sons (spines sunned, slight wear to extremities).
LIMITED EDITION, number 520 of 1050 copies of the "Atlantic Edition," SIGNED BY WELLS.
