RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT & ENAMEL EGG

The egg opening to reveal a silver gilt basket surmounted by a swan, it's back applied with a pearl, the blue enamel ovoid sides decorated with fleur-de-lis with interlaced foliate chased strapwork, applied with seed pearls and amethyst, surmounted a a further amethyst finial, pseudo impressed maker's mark. H: 5 1/4 in.
