A Chinese Two-Piece Embroidered Silk Ensemble
Early 20th Century
comprising a long jacket and set of wide trousers, each tailored of black satin, embroidered with flowers in polychrome floss, and trimmed in wide ribbons. The jacket having a central toggle closure, the pull-on pants finished with a tie fastener.
Length of jacket 40 in. x width across chest 21 in., 101.6 x 53.3 cm.
Property from the Estate of Hisazo Nagatani (1905-1994), thence by descent. 永谷商会（前山中商会芝加哥分公司）创始人永谷寿三（1905-1994）舊藏。
