Autograph Letter Signed & Related Material: Dali, (Salvador). Pebble Beach, California, 1944. 1 p., ALS, 8vo; 3 pp., letter, 4to; telegram. To Gilbert Miller, [prominent theatre producer] both relating to the stage set designs for (an unrealized) production of Don Juan. The 3 pp. letter reads in part: "... I would be ecstatic to design the sets for this play... I am now in the best condition of tranquility to be able to commence working if it is soon decided..." [fr.. from the French]. This 3 pp. letter is not in Dali's hand (perhaps in Gala's). In orig. airmail postal envelope apparently addressed by Dali's amanuensis.
