Lot Description

Two Chinese Pottery Vessels 
Warring States Period (475-221 BC) or Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD)

the granary vessel is decorated with three large bands enclosing a pattern of impressed circles and stylized, pointed leaves, on three stylized feet molded as animals, the second a pear-shaped vase made after a bronze example, surmounted by a tall waisted neck and supported on a slightly spreading foot, with taotie mask and ring handles.
Height of taller 15 3/8 in., 39.1 cm.
