Two Carved Hardstone Figures of Shoulao, Immortal of Longevity
19th/20th Century
Each of the Immortal of Longevity is carved standing wearing long robes, his bearded face is smiling and he holds a staff surmounted by lingzhi fungus and a longevity peach, or shoutao, on each hand.
Height of taller 2 5/8 in., 6.7 cm.
