Both turned and stained fruitwood, the inkwell with reeded incurved sides and a central hole and three pen holes, the sander of squat baluster form with a dished top and flat base. Both with handwritten paper lables tracing ownership. Wear to finish of inkwell, losses and cracks to sander.Diam. of inkwell: 3-3/8, h. of sander: 3-1/4 in.
