THREE AMERICAN SILVER CREAM JUGS

The first, J.E.Caldwell, Philadelphia, in 18th C. style, the baluster body with a pierced scroll rim and on three shell-capped scroll legs with shell feet, initialled on front, the second, Dominick & Haff, New York, the ovoid body allover bright-cut engraved with swirls of flowering foliage around an initialled oval reserve, on a conforming molded spreading foot, the third, marked STERLING only, with a slightly compressed spherical body chased with scrolls and flowers around one initialled and one vacant reserve, on a low scroll chased foot. Minor dents to third. H. of tallest: 4-1/2 in.; total wt.: 14 oz.
