The plate with a cobalt blue border with gilt scrolls between gilt-bordered oval reserves painted with polychrome floral sprays, all enclosing a polychrome central scene of a woman and child in a garden landscape, the metal frame with chased edges holding the plate, two upward scrolling handles, and on three similarly chased pierced scroll feet between swags.
